​Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services, courses, workshops, subscriptions, individual lessons and other offers provided by ARANYA Studio. By booking an offer or purchasing a subscription, customers accept these GTC.

Our General Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to all services offered. Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the statutory provision. By placing an order, the person placing the order declares their agreement with our terms and conditions. Deviating terms and conditions require our written consent. 

The General Terms and Conditions do not apply to the services of team members who work independently and rent the ARANYA Studio for their services. These tenants enter into agreements with their customers independently and ARANYA Studio cannot be held liable for this.

Services
The staff at ARANYA Studio offer various health services such as group courses or private sessions (yoga, Pilates, functional training, body and mind coaching, relaxation), retreats and workshops, as well as massages (foot reflexology, classic massage, cupping, singing bowls, etc.), consultations and similar services. The exact services are determined by individual agreements between ARANYA Studio employees and their customers.

Participation requires good physical and mental health. Any existing health restrictions must be reported to the course instructor before the start of the course.

Subscription duration and costs

The cost of the subscription is based on the current offer.

 

1. The first date of the subscription applies when calculating the subscription duration.

 

2. The subscription duration varies depending on the offer selected.

 

3. Registration is required for the courses.

 

Entitlement is limited to the number of dates specified when selecting the subscription. By purchasing a half-yearly or annual subscription, you also have the option of participating in all courses without restriction.

Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable.

​

The term is binding; no refunds will be given for lessons not taken.

​

Courses may be cancelled on national holidays and during staff holidays.

​

Suspension of subscription

 

The agreement may be suspended in justified circumstances as follows:

• Upon proof of military service lasting more than five days.

• In the event of work-related absence from the area of more than 50 km and at least five days.

• In the event of medically certified inability to attend.

• In the event of holidays, the subscription may be suspended for a maximum of two weeks per quarter (or eight weeks per year).

 

ARANYA Studio must be notified of the suspension in writing in advance. In the event of an accident or illness, the suspension must be reported as soon as possible. The period of suspension will be credited in the form of an extension after the subscription period has expired.

Restricted use of the service

The following applies to the time restrictions on subscriptions:

1. In the event of course cancellations due to accident or illness, as well as seasonal or temporary restrictions on services due to construction work, or reductions in the range of services offered, the customer is not entitled to a price reduction or refund.
    

2. The provider reserves the right to relocate the massage, training and exercise facilities within the city of Zurich.

Non-utilisation of services
If ARANYA Studio services are not utilised, customers are not entitled to a price reduction or refund. Registration is required for appointments. If the course is already fully booked and cannot be attended, there is no entitlement to a price reduction or refund.

Appointments & cancellations
Appointments are made by arrangement or via online booking by the customer. Customers are requested to cancel agreed appointments online, by telephone or via WhatsApp at least 24 hours before the appointment. ARANYA Studio reserves the right to charge for unexcused no-shows or late cancellations. Exceptions are at the discretion of the provider.

Late arrivals for individual appointments may affect the service time; there is no entitlement to an extension of the service duration. ARANYA Studio reserves the right to charge for unexcused no-shows or late cancellations. Exceptions are at the discretion of the provider.

 

Cancellation of retreats
The following cancellation conditions apply when booking retreats:

• Up to 6 months before the start of the course: 50% of the total cost.

• From 6 months before the start of the course: 100% of the total cost.

• No-show: 100% of the total cost.

• Course termination: 100% of the total cost.

Terms of payment
Payment for individual appointments is made after each appointment directly on site in cash or with Twint or by invoice. Payment for a subscription is made at the latest on the first appointment directly on site in cash or with Twint or by invoice.

Price adjustment & health insurance recognition

The courses led by Jana Bucher are generally recognised by health insurance companies. However, it is up to the customer to register this with their health insurance company. ARANYA Studio does not guarantee that the costs will be covered.

​

For other course instructors, it is necessary to enquire whether they are recognised by health insurance companies. Jana Bucher's massages are not recognised by health insurance companies. ARANYA Studio reserves the right to adjust prices. Customers will be informed of any changes in good time.

Liability

Participation in classes is at your own risk.

​

The studio is only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

​

The studio accepts no liability for damage to property or loss of personal belongings.

​

Insurance (illness, accident, liability) is the responsibility of the customer. Customers are individually insured for public liability claims caused by ARANYA Studio.

 

Data protection
ARANYA Studio undertakes to process personal data exclusively within the framework of the statutory provisions.

Customer data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

ARANYA Studio undertakes to protect the privacy and personal data of its customers. Further information on this can be found in our Privacy Policy.


Severability clause
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic meaning and purpose of the invalid provision.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions
ARANYA Studio reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to customers in good time and will come into effect with the consent of the customer.

 

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies.

The exclusive place of jurisdiction is 8008 Zurich.
